This week we fell for artist Andrea Pippins’ colourful illustrations. Get some inspiration from her empowering visuals.

Her vibrant colour-blocking techniques excite the eye while simultaneously addressing socio-political issues and celebrating people of colour. She works primarily through a process of sketching, which she then digitizes and adds colour to on the computer. We think her designs would do really well on a screen print…

On her site, Andrea proclaims herself to be “produc[ing] artwork with a mission to create what she wants to see and a vision to empower women and girls of colour and people in underserved communities with visual tools to own and tell their own stories.” We can’t wait to follow her next moves.

Check out more on her website.
