Our studio is filled with graphic designers, so of course, we enjoy being picky about digital design and branding. Here’s 5 lovely brand identities that came out of 2018.

1. Arper by Clase Barcelona

Spanish-based Clase Bcn designed promotional and communications material for Italian furniture, Arper this year. We love the use of color-blocking and the risk they took with using such a range of colour.

2. Anna by Michael Wolff & NB Studio

Launched this year, Anna provides services for self-employed people and small businesses. Their brand identity highlights their target audience, appealing to creatives and independents alike, rather than the usual stuffy, traditional banks.

3. Piccolo by Here Design

When we first saw this brand design and packaging we couldn’t quite tell what was inside. That’s because Here Design, “treat[ed] these unique seed packages like a collection of beautiful miniature books,” when designing Piccolo’s latest branding. Fab.

4. Sweet Thursday by Unknown

We fell for local pizzeria, Sweet Thursday’s brand identity. Combining modern typography with pizza-red and soft green tones, their branding reminds of both a hip pizza joint and our Italian grandmama’s kitchen. Table for 4, please!

5. Inside the Head by Sara Svensson

This project, highlighting and celebrating the trials and tribulations of young adult life, is equipped with vibrant and responsive animations that bring to life the people behind these stories.
